Meet Our Founder
Meet Adom Roberts, founder and CEO of the Autistic Warriors Association.
A natural-born leader and passionate advocate for marginalized individuals, Adom was diagnosed with Functional Autism at a young age. Like many whose autism goes unrecognized due to high verbal ability or independence, he silently struggled with deep internal challenges. Misunderstood and mistreated, he faced trauma that fueled his drive to help others facing the same invisible battles.

Through the Autistic Warriors Association, Adom channels his experience into advocacy, education, and support—working to ensure that neurodivergent individuals are not only seen, but truly understood and empowered. One of his core missions is to educate law enforcement, educators, medical professionals, and other authority figures so that misunderstandings no longer lead to mistreatment.
His goal: to build a world where compassion replaces judgment, and awareness creates real change.

Who We Are
One in every 36 people is on the Autism Spectrum—and the number is growing.
While the exact cause remains unknown, Autism reflects a beautifully diverse range of neurodivergent traits that express themselves in deeply unique ways. Everyone, in some way, is touched by Autism—whether personally or through someone they know and love.

As the presence and impact of Autism in our communities becomes increasingly visible, it is more important than ever to raise awareness, foster understanding, and celebrate this vibrant spectrum of personality and thought.
Autistic individuals bring extraordinary perspectives, creativity, and authenticity to the world. They are, in the most beautiful way—wonderfully unique!

Yet with that uniqueness comes a unique set of challenges.
Because the signs of Autism can be subtle or easily misunderstood, many individuals suffer silently—deeply affected not by their traits, but by how they are treated. That’s why we must be especially mindful and diligent in how we treat others. Kindness, patience, and respect can transform lives.
Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site! We hope you will choose to get involved in the fight and become AWArrior today!
